Star Airsoft to Release Shinier Version of the FN-SCAR

Now players will have a second choice of body style and manufacturer when it comes to the long awaited FN-SCAR. Star Airsoft will soon release their version which comes with, what looks like, a nickel plating. No word yet on price or availability.

I think that's just there to demonstrate what's metal and what isn't. This probably is for those who grouse about the fact that the STAR SAWs are plastic bodied.

I'm pretty sure the final gun will be black.

i agree, producing half nickel plated bodies can cost a quite lot, i agree, the final would prolly be black, tan and etc...

Yea, the nickel is only for the prototype, alot of companys do that, it wont be too long before more companys start releasing the SCAR.

did some research and the silver parts are to identify the metal parts...So BoardSkater is right,it does highlight the metal that will be on the gun...

good call boardskater. thats what i thought but couldnt be sure. way to find out for sure VA.
