Once again, i find myself in a boring class with nothing to do...so here goes:

This one will require a little more cognitive thought from players then your basic games, but not nearly as much as the more advanced games.

Game name: Medic Jailbreak
Hits: 1
Game play:
Platform is a medic game, if you get hit, you sit down. if your medic gets to you, you get healed and are back in the game. The revival rates are still the same. you get 3 revives. after your fourth hit, you leave the field. there is 1 medic per team on the field with the same 4 hit count. Heres where the game differs. When you are sitting down after you have been hit (friendly fire counts of course) and a member of the opposing team touches you for 3 seconds, you go to their jail. When a person gets to jail, they are automatically healed and do not lose a life. you can be freed from jail as many times as necessary.

heres the catch 22: if a more adept player is hit, you can wait till he is sent to jail and if you manage to rescue them, they still maintain all their lives. the catch is that you are now missing your adept player until you can get to them. if you dont wait, he loses a life, if you wait too long, then you may lose more players and your window of opportunity. obviously a medic cannot be sent to jail. he can only die.

Misc:
Medic hit counts and revival counts can be altered as necessary.

tell me what you think.

Very nice, that sounds like it would be a kick ass game. Maybe we could try it out this friday :D

Very intresting concept, I like it. I like games that combine diffrent elemets from diffrent games into one scenario.

A little complicated (which isn't a bad thing if you have the right players).

Interesting, and I'd definitely be in for testing it out.

My only critique is that I rarely lose all my lives in a medic game, so I'm not sure how that would affect strategy. It seems a lot of games are lost when the team's medic dies and people are just sitting around.

But I definitely want to try this one -- sort of a meatwagon combo game that we were talking about earlier on the forum.

I've thought about this very idea for a while. The original inspiration for Cutthroat Medic was just like this. If a rope was tied around an enemy they became a POW. Woo's simplified version is probably the perfect mix for CQB. We should certainly try it.
