I dunno if one exists or has existed but i feel that CQB needs a Hostage Game. Its one thing to be able to storm the Embassy or A, but its another to be able to do it and not kill those innocent bystanders that are being held hostage. Just take a few newbs and inform them that they are hostages, bam we got the starts of a Hostage game. Lemme know what ideas you guys can add... considering the only one i have is a game with hostages....

I know that I have played a couple of variations of HOSTAGE games @ ACQB at one point or the other. But, your idea of having hostages in a ATTACK & DEFEND game sounds pretty cool. I thik it would add a great deal to the game to do an attack and defend embassy building with hostages. We could say that if there is 2-3 hostages, then the attacking team has to atleast get one out alive, or we could even put more strict rules on it.
Anyways................sounds like a cool idea to me Davin!

When I play, we play with a 1 hostage. We take the hostage and we can hide him anywhere (he doesnt have to be in clear sight, and the other team doesnt know where he is). The hostage can run! However if the terrorist team shoots him, he has to return to the terrorist team. And of course the other team has to extract the hostage at a predetirmined posistion. It is fun, unless your the hostage and you run, that hurts.

we have one that also has a time limit. The assault team can take as much time as needed to get to the building undetected (remember we start from a wooded location and have to approach the building). After the first shot is fired, the assualt team has 10-20 minutes, whatever was determined before hand, and then the defenders can kill the hostage. Not necessary, but they have that option after that.

Killing the hostage, another fine "PRO" of being on the terrorist team!

I agree that CQB could benefit from a hostage game. The only problem is how do you integrate the hostage and change/improve an existing game. To do it as an addition to Embassy or defend "A" building really wouldn't make mush sense. The terrorists would just huddle around the hostage and be more difficult to eliminate. We need to give this one more thought IMO.

What if you did a modified version of black hawk (... i think that's the name) with hostages? You could give each chalk a hostage, that way you don't have one group of people surrounded by five hostages and have one of the rules be that not more than two chalks can be together at once just to make sure you don't end up with a wall of hostages. Then the other side (i don't remember what they're called) has to kill the chalks without ever hitting a hostage. I'm not really sure what the objective could be... maybe the other team has to try and capture the hostage and take them to a safe point, but it's the begining of an idea.

We usually limit the amount of people that can babysit the hostage. We also do not limit thier movement. they may start out in the basement and end up on the top floor. That may help you.

I agree that just adding a hostage to an attack and defend game would turn into a hide behind the hostage game but i dont think adding a hostage to Blackhawk down would make much sense... so in terms of senario we arnt much further along, but here are some things ive pieced together in terms of ideas
- Hostage and people attempting to save the hostages wear vests
- In an attempt to make it worth while to the hostages to volunteer, they can carry a weapon, but cannot use it until they are resqued at which point they become active
-Hostages while hostages get 1 hit, once they are active they get 2
-Hostage can take cover when there is a cross fire
-Terrorists may NOT execute a hostage
-Hostages can NOT be used as cover
.... i think thats all i got
