another black hawk down mod
team of skinnies and two chalks
the chalks need to get to a destination and "paint" a target while calling in an air raid
the chalks are told in private where the target is and their extraction zone so the skinnies dont camp
the chalks must hold the target for 30 secconds or so to paint the target or place a gps marker or something of that sort
also the chalks must start on the other side of the field from the target but get to choose their locations before the skinnies exit the staging area
possible game or just a useless idea

This has potential. We would need something like a beacon or limpet mine prop for this one. I'll get on it right away. :D
The only thing we need to work out is the whole issue with the chalks getting pwned if all the skinnies are deployed at the beginning of the game. This happened during Ranger Rescue on Friday and we (the rescue chalk never made it out from the start point.
This brings up an idea, maybe we need to have something like skinny start points. We could divide them up into skinny hoards and sit them in various rooms. When the game starts the ref could randomly signal (with the airhorn) which ones can come out blazing. From there the normal respawn rules would apply. I think this would really balance out the game and lend more realism, simulating how the word is getting around to the skinnnies that the delta's are in town. What do you guys think?
BTW thanks afroman794 (http://www.acmeairsoft.com/member.php?u=48) for submitting a new CQB game idea. We've kind of slacked on the new ideas lately.

This would be a lot of fun, till you relize you have to paint a target in the middle of a field. This still sounds like a lot of fun! Good idea!

that sounds like a really cool scenario... the only question is what do you paint the target with? could you use a video camera with a link abck to HQ to make sure that it is painted for the proper length of time? i dont think it would be hard to find a wireless transmitter that would send video back to hq... then count it down from there...
is that feasible?

The video camera is a good idea, I be worried someone would misuse it though, it only takes a good fall or two before its in two pieces.

how about a digital watch with a stop watch that has to read a certin time window on it (30-40 secconds) that has to stay at the target then the ref checks it when its over
that way the chalk has to activate it and stop it so they just cant leave it running and take off

This would be a good game for those "high dollar" games. They have some high-tech laser designater, and something to actually designate. I could see whatever they used paint the target actually send a laser, like laser gun. And the object have a actual sensor to it. Makes things easier. Hit the target once to start the clock, and once more to end it. Then you could leave for extraction!

good idea light sensing diodes are cheap and easy to work with
link one to some sort of counter and its a great idea

As long as the designater knows where the sensor is at, you wouldnt have a problem.

ya n i actually just got an idea i could probably make a sensor and link it to a timer that after 30 it lights an led

That would is a neat idea. I would love to play a game as detailed as this.

for that painting of the target you could use a weapons laser sight and the reff could time how long the laser is on the target

Man I totally forgot about this game. We should have played it on Friday night. Thanks for bumping the thread Airsoft!

as far as painting the target i got an idea to make a light/laser sensing diode
so the chalk has to put the laser or light on the target, then it counts to thirty and a LED comes on to signal the time required to paint the target
my electronics teacher put a parts order in for me and says they should be in a few weeks but untill then the laser idea seems to be the best

I was thinking of something more along the lines of an egg timer with a magnet on the back. If the structure beams of ACQB are dense enough then just place the magnet on the wall set the egg timer and run.
