Teams: A&B
Objective: Elimination
Hits: 1 and 1
Special Equipment: 2 med kits with first aid ropes inside. Each rope is tied to the inside of the med kit and has a knot at each end.
Setup: Teams are divided up normally and deployed to their respective starting areas. Once deployed each team decides on who will carry the med kit. That person will be the medic. Teams may also decide to use a special code word for the medic.
Play: The ref signals the start of the game. When a player is hit they go to the ground and call for the medic. They are now wounded. Wounded players may talk and give instructions to other players. They may not move or fire their weapons. A medic may heal a player by doing the following:

Pulling out a first aid rope from the med kit
Untying the knots at each end of the rope
Tying the rope around the arm of the wounded player. The wounded player is now healed. They can return to play. If they are hit again they are eliminated. The game is over when all players from one team are all either wounded or eliminated.
Special Rules for Medics and Med Kits: If the medic is hit they must go down to the floor. They may not heal themselves. A team member may come up to the medic go through the steps to heal them (see above). The team member may also ask for the med kit and not heal the medic. Opposing players may also approach the wounded medic and request the med kit. If this happens the med kit is not the property of the other team. The medic must surrender the med kit to any player that requests it.

This game went over big at AQB on Friday night. People really liked the idea of limited healing as well as medics having to take time to heal people. This also eliminates the element of cheating or simply losing count of how many times a person can be healed.

The only noticeable complaint is that there weren't enough first aid ropes and med kits. I will be making up a second set of kits and perhaps putting in six ropes instead of five.

In a future post I'll put up pictures of the med kits and the ropes.

Wish I could have stayed to play bro. Was feeling sick.

Glad it went over well and can't wait to play it in January....but the bad news is that I won't be able to play until like the last weekend in January....

Have a semi-pro soccer game to ref Jan 7th down in Hampton..Going to Denver on the 13-16th, so after that I'm golden!

Last weekend in Jan!!!!???? Are you kidding me? You'll go nuts not being able to use that shinny new Glock for a month. Make sure to post up in the logistics forum when you're going to be back in action.

Yea, I will, but don't worry. I'll be using the brand new Glock on my brothers back home over the holidays.

I was there for the Medic game and it was fun. I didn't end up taking a hit that game, but it seemed to make the game go faster and people had to play much more conservative than the regular medic games.

Also nice to have anybody be a medic in case the team's medic goes down.

Another idea (and it requires more med kits), would be to have one medic per squad (say 6 people or so), and let only the medics heal people, but the kits could be captured, or exchanged on the same team.

All I am going to make another set of med kits (each team will then have two apiece) and I thing I am going to put in six ropes instead of five. I think this will make the game fairer since medics will not have to ignore newbies to save only the veteran players. I'll have these ready for 12/31. If anyone else has suggestions please let me know.

I played this game when you came out with it and agian this last fri. (last night). I and I have to say I like the extra med kits alot. It gives a true realism to the medic game. The only thing I would suggest is to limit the med kits to the amount of people playing. You don't want to have two med kits on a team of ten or less, then it would not be "cutthroat". I love the game though, good job on the med kits too you can't hide the fact your a medic with one of then around your neck. Plus the addition of the given up the med kit to the other team if your hit is brilliant. A five star, easy for noobs to understand game; plus real fun for us intermediates and vets alike.

thats a great game idea... we'll have to try it out down here... seems to me it would keep the games going pretty quickly... one team ive played against before took almost 3 HOURS to assault a building... and that was with unlimited respawns!!!!! this might get them to move a little faster...

Hey man the last couple of times we haven't played this game and that's sux. Jake needs to bring it in all the time or Steve needs to go out and purchase the parts. Maybe every good game that someone creates he can buy from or post who invented the game in the shop.
