Worst F'ing Airsoft Outing EVER!!!

Most of you were there but for those of you who weren't, I broke not only my K :mad:, but also my M4:mad::mad:. My K was DOA in the first game. My M4 was dead the next game. Brazzle earned a case of beer and a huge favor from me for loaning me his M4. He certainly saved my crappy day.

The day wasn't all bad I did manage to single handedly surrender not one but two squads of three players in different games. I also got to fire my first 203. I managed to destroy a newb who was looking the other way, man that was sweet.

Needless to say I might be out of action next week waiting to get my babies fixed.

hey bro, sorry to hear it was not a banner day. But, your buds at ACQB will get the fellas fixed soon (and well from what I understand!) and you'll be back up in no time!! My SD5 died in our last game, and it felt like i'd lost an arm or something. thank goodness i got it fixed. i feel your pain!!

i feel your pain... just about every time i've gone to ACQB, something has gone wrong with my guns...

my p90 stopped working in the middle of a game (thank goodness Tim showed me how to fix it relatively simply)
my pistols ran out of gas (simply because i'm a moron)
one of my high cap mags decided to stop working (the one time i actually fired off enough rounds to need to reload... and i was stuck in the phone booth at the time...)

Yeah, that sucks. The only funny thing to come out of all that was the way you nonchaleantly asked: "Steve, how much will this noise cost me?"

It seemed to be a bad night for guns last night across the board. Just like the last time I was there, it was a bad night for optics. Full moon, I guess. . .

Best of luck getting them fixed -- I'm now debating a backup AEG either for myself in an emergency, or as a loaner (for someone else's emergency)

totally feel youre pain man....sucks to lose a gun in the middle of a game.....but the awesome gesture of having someone hand you there backup somewhat makes up for it =D

There is certainly something to be said for having a backup. The K bailed crafty out a few weeks ago and I've slid it across the floor to other team mates in past.

When CQB isn't too busy one can usually bum a rental from Steve. These days with the crowds there that is becoming less of an option.

Remember the cost of spare MP5 K is about $270 with a battery and one hi cap; which is not a bad investment to save your day when your primary goes down.

it is now almost 12:30 in the AM on Friday morning. One week has gone by, and I'm sitting here up way to late in order to hoist a Cherry Coke in your honor and hope you have a better outing this weekend!!

what the rest of the world doesnt know is that itsahak actually has an 'S' on his chest... and tries to practice flying daily... just dont ask about that nasty gash on his forehead....

my worst day of airsoft ever was getting drilled repeatedly on a stairwell repeatedly by Bed-Sog, being cold, and wet... (conincidentally itsahak's SD-5 had just quit working...) and me being brilliant tried to climb through the stair railing so the guys couldnt see me, laid down in a puddle of COLD water... getting soaked to the bone... then, after i go to all the trouble of sneaking up on them... my pistol wouldnt work and i got drilled by two guys with AEG's from about 10 ft... and they couldnt see that i had my hands up and kept shooting... fortunately for me we called the game about 3 min later after id respawned for the 6th time... (it hurt a lil bit...lol)
