Teams: A and B
Objective: Elimination
Hits: Players 1 (special), Medic 4
Setup: Players are divided up into two teams (A&B)
Play: The medic is chosen once both teams have deployed to their respective starting points. Teams engage each other when the ref signals the start of the game. When a player is hit they immediately sit down where they were shot. They are now wounded. If they are reasonable close to a door in a busy hallway they may move to the door in order to avoid being hit again. The player may call out for the medic and may talk to teammates about the other team’s movements. The medic can come up to wounded players and place their hand on them. After three seconds the wounded player is healed and may return to play. If the medic is hit they simply call out “hit 1”…“hit 2.” On hit 4 they are eliminated. Once the medic is eliminated and all players are wounded on the field the game is over.

Most times I've been in a medic game, there is an additional rule tacked on saying that any player other than the medic can only be revived three times.

There's also a variant that gets played off and on where the opposing team's medic can "kill off" a player by going through the revive process on him.

There have also been games where the refs demand that the "wounded" players leave the field once their medic is killed.

We commonly refer to this as Kevorkian Medic... and it's one of my preferred games.

sounds like a fun game, does the medic have a gun though?

Medic games are fun at ACQB, just like those with respawn. Keeping the game going and giving players lots of game time. The only problem I have is when you have a medic afraid of getting hit. You're gonna get hit sooner or later so just buck up and take it. Im not saying they need to dive out into the line of fire and stupidly let themselves get shot, but I've had medic games where our medic never moved up with the team and cowered in spawn.

Speaking of Medic games so when can you get the Firefighters Training Facility again Hak? I still havn't been able to play there and that game scenerio Jawinn described would play great there.

Sounds good to me. I like it.

Ive played that at CQB before...the key is to get a medic that is very fast, but can also help defend himself
