Teams: A and B
Objective: Elimination
Hits: Players 1 (special), Medic/Gang Lord 4
Setup: Players are divided up into two teams (A&B)
Synopsis: Essentially this is a blend of the chaos game and the medic game.
Play:
The team captains are the Medic/Gang Lord. As in Chaos, every player must carry a vest. Starting off, one team wears the vest and the other hides the vest on their person.
Once teams have been chosen, both teams are deployed to their respective starting points. Teams engage each other when the ref signals the start of the game. When a player is hit they immediately sit down where they were shot with their weapon across their lap. They are now eligible for “hire”.
A downed player has no allegiance to either team. They may call out the disposition of the live players around them (either vest or non-vest). Or call out to the gang lords to “hire” them.
The gang lord can go up to a downed player and “hire” them. By touching the downed player for three seconds, the player is live and starts playing for that gang lord’s team. If the vest gang lord revives you then you put on your vest and play on the vest side; vice versa for the non-vest medic.
If the gang lord is hit they simply call out “hit 1”…“hit 2.” On hit 4 they are eliminated. Once one gang lord is eliminated and all the players are down or one the remains gang lord’s team then the game is over.
Benefits:
I have couple of complaints about the medic and the chaos games. In the medic game, if you get wounded early in the game, you can be sitting on your rear for 15 minutes. If you’re the medic, you’re forced to play passive. The above scenario actually gives the medic an incentive be more aggressive. The medic can turn the tide during a game.
Chaos really only works when it’s semi, the number of people is small, and only half the field is used. Since the re-spawn point is not fixed, the whole field can be used, even with a small number of players.
