did some one on here say that the guys at warplay paintball might open it up for airsoft? if so how bout we try this; an overnight event. we could have like one team hold a position and another team assualt it all nite long. or mabey another mission that lasts all nite long. wow that would be pretty bitchin.

p.s. how do ya like my new picture

i cant make out your picture. but about the games, they have overnight ops ever few months. there are several coming up in the next few weeks.

Operation: Hammerfall and Operation: Rapier Blade

both are overnight, although RB is slightly more local and a bit cheaper. Ops generally have a set of missions set out by the game coordinators to make the game more fun and interesting.

An overnite op would rule, but there's a lot of things that have to fall into place first. Not the least of wich is notifying the local authorities, ensuring that EMS is either on site or aware of the event and able to respond quickly, ensuring that the main hazards (ie gully's, ponds/lakes/large streams, and boundaries) are clearly understood by game staff and marked for players, plus the million other things that have to be set up. But it is possible.

Yes the obstacles are a huge issue. I have played at a formiliar place before and managed to still eat it on something I KNEW WAS THERE!!!lol So you have to bring some peramedics in, cause someone is going to eat it, or get cut at least once. I came home from a game not to long ago, and had cuts from my wrists to my elbows. Blood all down my arms. Somehow I didnt notice it, but thats just me. Someone else, that might actually bother them, and they might seek medical attention.

I have played in the night before. Its really weird. Thats about all you can say. Since your losing your sight, you depend on other senses more. I sat in a spot and I know someone walked right on me, and didnt even have to extend my arm fully to touch him. I got him to call himself out, cause I mean honestly why shoot someone in the side with a 400fps gun from a inch away? Believe me he thanked me later for not wasting him. Its gets harder depending on who your playing with too. Team ECHO is a team based in Richmond, and a good majority of them have NVG's. That is not a good feeling, notbeing able to see, but able to be seen. If you guys have a night game, or even better an OP post up. Im postive you could get a lot of ideas of the guys here.

I think an overnight would be pretty cool. Alot of logistics to get sorted out, but if it is done right, it could definitely be a fun experience. BRASS played out on a 200 acre farm and I could envision a sweet overnight op at that location. If you have some good organization and leadership, anything is possible.
