heres one based on a battle that happened a few years ago in iraq.
3 groups of guys ir marines are sent into different parts of where ever you are playing there goal is to regroup and hold out at a certain spot for ten minutes (or how ever long you wish) while keeping at least one third of there men.
while the "iraqi"insurgents try to keep them from regrouping or getting to the holding zone

the marine team gets three deaths each if the marines lose more than two thirds of there men then the iraqis win
the iraqis get two deaths each if the marines get to the holding zone and defend it for the set amount of time the marines win

any suggestions to make this scenario better?

We play a similar game to that. It's one of our many versons of "Blackhawk down". 3 chalks of 3-4 rangers in different corners. Everyone else are samalies (spelling). Two of the chalks are on one side of the field and the 3rd chalk has to make it to them for "extract". All rangers have 3 hits. when a samali takes a hit, he exits to our staging area and marks a tally on the board, then he's back in the game. When the samalies reach, depending on the number of people playing, say 30-45 kills the rangers win. If the chalk fails to make it to the other two or all chalks are taken out, the samalies win.
