Hello from Georgia

Hey, ya'll! I'm from Kennesaw, Georgia.

I've been into airsoft for about a year now, and I've managed to build up an arsenal of well-performing low-budjet guns, such as the CM.028 and the UTG Competion Master sniper rifle.

I was wondering about any regulations and policies I should be aware of on this forum.

What I mean as far as policy goes, do you guys prohibit the discussion of backyard airsoft, or having an airsoft gun visible to the public, or anything of that sort?

I don't think its particularly banned so to speak, but I can tell you this, you will get a rush of "its just not smart" answers. Public displays of airsoft replicas can get you into hot water and land you in jail. Unless you live on some remote road where no one but you and your family drive by, I would suggest another venue.

Yeah, that's what I was looking for. The last forum I went to banned it's discussion completely, unless you said something like "All backyard airsofters are complete idiots. You'll ruin it for us all!"

It's fine for me, the area I live in is pretty conservative, lots of people hunt, and it's pretty popular to boot. I've never had problems with it.

I would play somewhere better if I could, but if there are better places, I just haven't found them yet.

As far as rules go I really don't have a hard and fast set to go by. All I ask is that you try to:
-stay on topic with the treads
-search for an answer before you ask a question
-NEVER glorify the misuse of Airsoft. That will get you banned immediately. I'm not talking about backyard Airsoft, I'm talking about dumb stuff like taking your pistol to school or the liquor store.
-Never comment on the admin :) JK

GA should have some great places to play airsoft...Welcome to the forum. How happy with your utg rifle are you? thats a springer isnt it? UTG makes very decent guns.

Actually, I don't have it yet. I bought it off ebay new last week. It'll get here this week, and I can't wait!
