The Quick and the Dead

I am issuing a open challenge for those of you with pistols for a quick draw competition at CQB.

This is real simple two players in any hallway, just pistols with six shots each, draw and fire. The player with the worst hits looses. We can figure the rest out on the field. This would be a great time killer when we're waiting around for people to get ready and/or setup games.

Totally down for this. What would the drawing distance be? Like 20feet or so? But about allowing people to also avoid shoots by going to 1 knee or moving a little. I'd try it out as a demo with someone else.

Well... to make it a little more 'stylish' (or simply sorting out domestic arguments at home) you could always have a velvet case with two Marushin Derringers, one for each person...

mr7q and I have done duels before while waiting for a game to start.

Quick draw is tough, since a lot of tac vests are cross draw (not ideal for speed). A drop leg or belt holster should win every time.

Problem is that we did Gentlemen's duels by simply pointing the gun and pulling the trigger, and seemingly Gentlemen can't aim for shit.

I really can't believe more people aren't asking about doing this at CQB. I would imagine that the combination of guns and alpha males would have made this a no brainer. I'm going to see if anyone is interested tomorrow.
